Min. Vanessa Pride is a devoted servant of God, a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who has walked through seasons of heartbreak only to discover the beauty of God’s restoration. A native of San Francisco, she now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. After a successful 40-year career in the banking/mortgage industry, she retired to fully embrace her true calling in ministry. In 2015, she was ordained under the leadership of Bishop Eddie L. Long, and in 2019 she launched “Serving for God’s Glory,” a daily devotional ministry that continues to inspire and uplift people around the world.
About Min. Pride
Her book, A Butterfly upon Angel’s Wings, was born out of her personal journey, searching for love, facing the pain of failed marriages, and longing to be chosen. In moments when disappointment could have broken her spirit, she instead leaned into God’s presence and discovered that her worth was never defined by rejection but by God’s unfailing love. Though she once believed validation would come from being chosen by another person, God reminded her that she had already been chosen by Him. In His presence, she found acceptance, healing, and the strength to begin again, embracing her divine purpose, inner peace, and joy.

“The only approval that truly matters is God’s. People may not understand the transformation in me, and that’s okay, because God does.
God has opened my eyes in ways I never expected, allowing me to see myself through His love. For years, I carried an invisible message: ‘I am not enough.’
But now, I have replaced it with the truth:

✔ I am deeply loved by God.
Now, I recognize His voice. I understand His love. And I finally realize, love does not hurt, and I do not have to tolerate mistreatment.”
